Recif Technologies joins the Accuron Technologies Group

22 Jan 2024 | Press release

Toulouse, January 10 2024 –  Yotta Capital Partners, Sofiouest and Alain Jarre announce the acquisition of Recif Technologies by Accuron Technologies Group, an international precision engineering and technology business serving the semiconductor, aerospace, and industrial equipment sectors.

Headquartered in Toulouse, with two sales subsidiaries in the USA and Taiwan, Recif Technologies has well prospered since its restructuring in 2008, when Alain Jarre took over management of the Group.

Supported by Yotta and Sofiouest since 2021, the company has enjoyed strong growth in recent years, with a significant acceleration of its activity by more than 65% since 2020. Recif secured its positioning as one of the world’s top two manufacturers of ultra-clean wafer handling robots (wafer sorters) for semiconductor fabs. In parallel, Recif Technologies has been involved in all major European collaborative projects since 2012.

Recif Technologies will continue in its R&D efforts, leveraging Accuron Group’s recognized industrial experience and expertise in the fields of robotics, inspection, and packaging, as well as its strong industrial presence in Europe and its vast international network (Europe, US, and Asia), to support its continued development. The next growth phase will be led by Laurent Salanqueda, Recif’s new CEO, who joined the team a year ago.

For Alain Jarre: “By joining Accuron Technologies, Recif Technologies will have the means to accelerate its expansion and reach a new milestone in Europe, thanks to the Chips for Europe Initiative, but also in all countries involved in semiconductor manufacturing. I am proud to have contributed to the turnaround and development of Recif Technologies over the past 15 years; Recif Technologies is now ready to benefit from the new momentum.”

For Benoît Perrot of Yotta Capital Partners: “As majority shareholder in Recif Technologies, it is key for us that Recif Technologies joins a group sharing the same values of technological excellence at the service of the strategic semiconductor industry in Europe and worldwide. We are particularly proud to have been the driving force behind this combination. We are convinced that Accuron Technologies will provide Recif Technologies with the necessary resources to pursue its innovation and growth path, while pursuing its engagement towards carbon impact reduction.”

For Patrice Hutin/Florian Denys of Sofiouest: “We are delighted to see Recif Technologies move towards new horizons with the industrial backing of Accuron Technologies. This partnership marks a significant step forward for Recif Technologies, underlining its key role in the semiconductor industry. We are confident in Recif Technologies’ ability to pursue its development under the leadership of Laurent Salanqueda, who joined the Group a year ago. Sofiouest is proud to have contributed to the success of this SME, which is playing its part in the new dynamism of French industry.”
